I am an Irish Research Council Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholar in the Discipline of English at the National University of Ireland, Galway. I have also received support from the College of Arts Digital Arts and Humanities programme. My supervisors are Prof Sean Ryder and Dr Paul Buitelaar as co-supervisor.
I received my BA from University College Dublin and my MPhil in Digital Humanities and Culture from Trinity College Dublin. My master’s dissertation applied topic modelling to a corpus of American fiction.
At NUI Galway, I worked as a research assistant for the Duanaire economic history database project, led by Dr Aidan Kane, from 2015 to 2016, before beginning my PhD. My thesis title is Computational Analysis of Narrative in Modernist and Electronic Fiction.
